Westchester Insider: Election Desk 2022 News: NY-17 Race: Lawler Raises $519,321.34 in First 75 Days.

NY-17: LAWLER RAISES $519,321.34 IN THE FIRST 75 DAYS OF

HIS RACE FOR CONGRESS.

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: NY-17, Aug. 8… Assemblyman and congressional candidate Mike Lawler today announced that he has raised $519,321.34 in the first 75 days of his race for Congress in New York’s 17th District. Assemblyman Lawler is challenging controversial congressman and Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee (DCCC) Chairman Sean Patrick Maloney.

"In just over two months, we've raised more than a half million dollars to communicate with local voters, and we’re just getting started," Mr. Lawler said. "Our support is coming from every corner of this district, and our momentum is growing by the day. Sean Patrick Maloney represents high taxes and inflation, failed cashless bail policies and soaring crime rates, and Nancy Pelosi as House Speaker in perpetuity. Voters want something else — they need relief.”

Mr. Lawler’s pre-primary filing shows him raising $165,446.81 in the past month alone, with a median donation size of $100. The Assemblyman has $435,588.30 in cash on hand for his congressional race.

The National Republican Congressional Campaign Committee designated Assemblyman Lawler as “On the Radar” as part of their prestigious “Young Guns” program in July and has put this district at the top of its target list. RealClearPolitics rates NY-17 as a “Toss-Up”.
