COUNTY EXECUTIVE KEN JENKINS ISSUES STATEMENT ON POLICE MONITORING AT FAITH-BASED INSTITUTIONS

 

 

“At the direction of Westchester County Executive Ken Jenkins, the Westchester County Department of Public Safety is increasing monitoring of faith-based institutions across the County. This action is being taken out of an abundance of caution to ensure the continued safety and security of our communities. We remain committed to protecting all residents and encourage faith-based organizations to stay connected with local law enforcement for any additional support or guidance. During this time, we also remind all Westchester County residents that we are neighbors, colleagues and friends—and that we must always stand together against violence and hate.”
