As we approach the anniversary of 9/11, I want to take a moment to reflect on the importance of honoring those we lost through meaningful action. I recently attended a press conference with Volunteer NY and the County Executive regarding “A Day of Service” in honor of the victims of 9/11. As this solemn day approaches, we remember those we lost and the importance of commemorating their memory through acts of service. We will never forget!
