During the Weekly Westchester Briefing:
· In recognition of Parole and Probation Week, Westchester County Probation Commissioner Rocco Pozzi will discuss the vital work carried out by his department and the dedication of its employees to improving community safety and supporting rehabilitation efforts. Parole and Probation Week, observed annually, serves as an opportunity to acknowledge the significant role that probation officers, parole officers, and related staff play in the criminal justice system.
· Westchester County Economic Development Director Bridget Gibbons, Westchester County Association President and CEO Mike Romita and Westchester County Association Director of Workforce Development Jason Chapin to discuss the Healthcare Talent Pipeline Program (HTPP). HTTP was launched by Westchester County in the spring of 2022 to help disadvantaged job seekers get healthcare training to land better jobs while also helping healthcare employers fill in-demand jobs. The Westchester County Office of Economic Development and Westchester County Association will be sharing the successful results of the program through 2023.
