Diverse Abilities Job Fair Returns to Westchester County July 18.
Pre-registered candidates with disabilities can interview on the spot with employers while discussing special accommodations.
(White Plains, NY) - Born out of an initiative to combat the nationwide high unemployment rate among people with disabilities, Westchester County continues its support of all community members through its Diverse Abilities Job Fair, which will take place on Tuesday, July 18. The hiring event will bring together representatives from approximately 50 employers and resource providers. Pre-registered candidates with disabilities will be able to request accommodations needed and schedule individual interviews with employers. Visit https://forms.gle/

Due to the success of previous Diverse Abilities Job Fairs, the event has been moved to the Westchester County Center to accommodate the demand from both attendees and employers/resource providers.
About Employers and Resource Providers:
Participating employers represent private, public and non-profit sectors and are looking to fill full-time, part-time and seasonal jobs and internships. The types of jobs include everything from maintenance to data entry; from customer service to health care; from entry level to highly skilled. All job seekers are encouraged to register in advance and bring resumes.
Confirmed employers include: Northwell Health, Goodwill NY/NJ, Westchester County, Amazon, AppleGreen, NY State Department of Corrections & Community Supervision, Westchester County Airport, NewYork-Presbyterian and more.
Confirmed resource providers include: Hearing Loss Association, Commission for the Blind, Westchester Independent Living, Westchester Residential Opportunities, SPARC, ConConnect, Yes, She Can and more.
