The Armonk Lions Club’s annual Fol-de-Rol Country Fair returns to Wampus Brook Park for the 47th time June 8-11. This beloved community tradition offers four days of entertainment, fun and delicious food for visitors of all ages. The festival is one of Armonk’s signature events and is expected to attract over 2,000 visitors once again.
This year’s Fol-de-Rol festival will feature over 55 vendors, offering a dozen carnival rides and games, live music, unique and handcrafted gifts, food trucks, a car show, Touch-a-Truck, racing pigs and more. Included for the first time are hot-air-balloon rides and a remarkable demonstration of chainsaw artwork crafted on site. Admission is free, and all proceeds from the festival, including cash-raffle ticket sales, are donated to local, state and international causes.
Also, each year the Lions Club collects used eyeglasses at their Lion’s Den booths and donates them to the International Lions to be recycled and provided to sight-impaired and needy individuals. Visitors to the Fol-de-Rol are encouraged to bring their no-longer-used eyeglasses and drop them off at either of the two Lion’s Den booths.
