Westchester is home to nearly 1 million people, with an opportunity to lead climate solutions through engaging and educational community events that are essential to the success of the county's energy transition. Westchester has taken critical steps to reduce its dependence on fossil fuels and embrace renewable energy infrastructure that will lower costs for residents and help protect our planet from the disastrous effects of climate change.
The Net-Zero Cities: Westchester County event will convene a diverse group of local community stakeholders, educators, leaders, residents, business owners, and experts in an engaging and inclusive discussion about Westchester County's path to Net-Zero. Decarbonization can only be accomplished through local efforts and this innovative event will share the steps for individuals, families and communities to achieve this goal. This family-friendly event will be hosted at Rye Middle School, engaging local students, families, and panel discussions.
