“Beginning this evening, Westchester residents who observe will be gathering in their homes for Seder to mark the beginning of Passover. This religious observance marks the Jewish people’s fight for freedom and struggle to overcome persecution. Westchester is a strong community because we are a diverse community, let us all remember that sentiment as our Jewish neighbors observe this sacred holiday. I wish a Happy Passover to our Jewish brothers and sisters who celebrate.”
