REGISTRATION IS NOW OPEN FOR WESTCHESTER COUNTY PARKS PICKLEBALL TOURNAMENT.

 

 

(Ardsley, NY) – Join the Pickleball craze! Registration is now open for the Westchester County Parks Pickleball Tournament to be held on Saturday, June 3, at 9 a.m. at Tibbets Brook Park in Yonkers.

 

Westchester County Executive George Latimer said, “Pickleball is sweeping the nation and becoming America’s fastest growing sport. All you need to play is a paddle, a ball and a good pair of sneakers. This is a sport for residents of all abilities and ages; young and old alike are becoming picklers.”     

 

Westchester County Parks Commissioner, Kathy O’Connor said, “Our mission includes providing safe, clean and affordable parks and programs that benefit Westchester County residents. We are happy to offer this tournament and four new pickleball courts at Tibbetts Brook Park.”  

 

The mixed doubles tournament is open to men and women, levels 2.5 to 3.5 (no beginners please). Rain date is Sunday, June 4.

 

The fee is $30 per team, with a maximum of 12 teams. Deadline for registration is Friday, May 19.
