Spring Hudson Valley Restaurant Week Kicks off with a Tasting Event at Maria Restaurant in New Rochelle.
(White Plains, NY) – Prepare to be hungry! It’s time to make your reservations for Spring 2023 Hudson Valley Restaurant Week. From Pelham to Peekskill, 68 Westchester restaurants from all over the County are participating in this bi-annual celebration of the local culinary scene.

The Spring kickoff will be held at Maria Restaurant in New Rochelle, the three-time Michelin Guide "Bib Gourmand" Award winner. Maria is a restaurant everyone is talking about, with new Italian cuisine in a trendy bistro setting. Signatures include baked clams, chianti braised pork shank, mushroom risotto, and the “Yo Maria,” the blue-hued house cocktail. Maria features specialty pasta dishes using mushrooms from Westchester Mushroom Company, the County’s first indoor mushroom farm, where hand-picked mushrooms are grown locally and harvested just hours before reaching the table.
County Executive George Latimer said: “Hudson Valley Restaurant Week is a favorite for both residents and visitors of the County. It is a fun way to get out and try a new Westchester restaurant or revisit a favorite. Many participating restaurants are close to train stations which makes it easy to hop on the train from the city or nearby town to try a new spot.”

Director of Westchester County’s Office of Tourism and Film Office Natasha Caputo said: “Spring is such a wonderful time to explore Westchester and experience a delicious meal. We encourage both residents and visitors to make their reservations and get out and dine.”
Maria Restaurant Owner/Chef Giovanni Cucullo said: “Westchester is fast becoming a food destination and Maria is happy to be a part of the vibrant culinary scene here in New Rochelle and the region. For two delicious weeks, from March 20 – April 2, the Hudson Valley will be celebrating restaurant dining with delicious, creative dishes featuring locally sourced ingredients. Prix-fixe lunches and dinners will be offered at $24.95, $29.95, $39.95 or $44.95. (Pricing does not include tax, beverages, or gratuity.) Prix-fixe menus may be offered for both dine-in and takeout.
