“The Festival of Lights, in the Jewish Tradition, is a story of light overcoming darkness. Light that signifies a hopeful future, a future that can cast away darkness. Right now, our Jewish brothers and sisters are facing great challenges – and as one Westchester community we all face the same challenges. Let us use our collective light as a tool for goodness and positive change and allow us to not be afraid in the face of darkness but, rather, hopeful. I wish Westchester’s Jewish residents a Happy Hanukkah.”
