THE WESTCHESTER COUNTY CAR SHOW RETURNS TO GLEN ISLAND PARK.

 

 

 

(New Rochelle, NY)  – Rev up your engines and visit the Westchester County Car Show on Sunday, Sept. 25, from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at Glen Island Park in New Rochelle. The show will feature displays of a wide variety of collectible cars, street rods and motorcycles, all carefully restored to mint condition or modified for performance.

 

County Executive George Latimer said, “Young and old will enjoy this public exhibition of classic automobiles, muscle cars, coupes and much more. Recapture that feeling of freedom you had driving your first car with a walk down memory lane at the Westchester County Car Show.”

  

Parks Commissioner Kathleen O’Connor said, “Bring your family and friends to picturesque Glen Island Park and see hundreds of collectable cars, motorcycles and hot rods on display. Imagine what it was like back in the day cruising around in one of these vintage beauties.”   

 

Registration is from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Entry fee is $20 per vehicle. The Westchester Street Rod Association will present more than 100 trophies to the best vehicles at 2:30 p.m.

 

All specialty vehicles welcome, goody bags distributed to the first 300 vehicles and a 50/50 raffles will be available for purchase. 

 

The entry fee is $20. Admission is free for spectators and the spectator parking fee is $5 per car. In case of rain, the event will be cancelled. Call: (914) 231-4645.

 

The Westchester County Car Show is presented by Westchester Street Rod Association and sponsored by Hyatt’s Garage and Towing, Hasselman Racing and Butch’s Plumbing and Heating, Inc.
