NY-17-Sept. 19…As more and more Democrats in Congress indicate https://www.cnn.com/2022/09/16/politics/nancy-pelosi-future-speaker/index.html that they won’t support Rep. Nancy Pelosi as their leader next year, Pelosi’s top lieutenant, chief enforcer, and Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee chairman Rep. Sean Maloney hasn’t said who he’ll support as Speaker if he’s reelected in November, the campaign of Assemblyman and congressional candidate Mike Lawler today noted. 

“Sean Maloney and Nancy Pelosi have been partners in crime for years — he’s effectively her campaign manager and chief enforcer— so it’s odd that he hasn’t said whether or not he’ll support her as his leader for another term,” said Lawler spokesman Bill O’Reilly. “And so we put this simple question to Mr. Maloney: Would you vote to make Nancy Pelosi the Democrat leader in Congress if she pursues the position next year?”

Mr. Lawler has said that he’ll support Rep. Kevin McCarthy as Speaker in January, but it’s been crickets so far from Mr. Maloney.
