As we celebrate the passage of the 19th amendment over 100 years ago, we also recognize that work is ongoing. Celebrate Women’s Equality Day by remaining passionate for progress just as the Suffragettes and not taking their sacrifice for granted. Remember to vote, stay informed on upcoming elections, and support candidates that align with your values. Across the country, women voters and their allies are rejecting government policing of their bodies through the ballot box. We must stay the course to reinstate a woman’s right to choose and regain the ground we’ve lost in the fight for true equality.
