CORPORATE, DARK MONEY & PRO-TRUMP SUPER PACS FOR SEAN PATRICK MALONEY HIT NEARLY $1 MILLION IN NY-17 PRIMARY.
Maloney refuses to say if there is any funder or group he will not accept money from.
WESTCHESTER, NY — In response to corporate, dark money, and pro-Trump super PACs today hitting nearly one million dollars in spending for DCCC chair Sean Patrick Maloney in the 17th Congressional primary, Democratic Congressional candidate Alessandra Biaggi today issued the following statement:
“Sean Patrick Maloney has spent the past decade taking millions from corporate PACs and special interests, and then delivering for his corporate donors in Congress. Now they’re paying him back for his service.
“There’s a reason corporate, dark money and pro-Trump Super PACs are spending nearly $1 million against me: because they know I won’t do their bidding in Congress. My opponent’s reliance on corporate, dark money and pro-Trump Super PACs makes clear whose side he is on. Democrats need leaders who will put working people first — not corporate donors — which is why I will never accept a dime from corporate PACs.”
