Elected leaders need to take a clear stance on issues.
Especially issues that cost their constituents money.
So here goes: I’m Mike Lawler, I’m running for Congress in Westchester, Rockland, Dutchess, and Putnam counties -- and I adamantly oppose the planned $23 Congestion Pricing Tax on people driving into Manhattan south of 60th Street.
It’s unfair, unaffordable, and it’ll only make traffic worse in other areas. It’s why I sponsor the bill in Albany to repeal the Congestion Tax and why I’ll fight to stop it in Washington.
Sean Patrick Maloney, on the other hand, always supported the $23 Congestion Pricing Tax. But now that people are getting angry about it -- as they should be -- Mr. Maloney has gone mute.
Go ahead. Try to get Mr. Maloney to tell you where he stands on the $23 Congestion Pricing Tax. Give him a call; see what he says - if you can get him on the phone. It’s 202-225-5441.
I’m Mike Lawler, and I’m leading the effort to stop the $23 Congestion Pricing Tax in New York because it’s terrible for my constituents.
See, Sean. Not so hard.
