Remote Participation Procedures for Public Hearing, Public Comment for Board Meeting 8/1.

The Board of Legislators’ next regular meeting will take place on Monday, August 1 at 10 a.m.

To watch: As always, the meeting will be streamed live on the Meeting Calendar section of our website, http://westchestercountyny.legistar.com

To speak: The Board has established remote participation procedures for those who would like to speak, during the meeting. These procedures have been instituted to protect public health, pursuant to Chapter 1 of New York State Laws of 2022, and Executive Order 11, as extended, which allows public bodies to meet and take action without permitting in-person public access to meetings and authorizes such meetings and public hearings to be held remotely by conference call or similar service, provided the public has the ability to view or listen and that such meetings are recorded and later transcribed. We welcome your participation.

When you register, you will be asked to select from one or more of the following speaking opportunities:

  • #1 Public Comment Session, lasting up to 30 minutes.

  • #3 Public Hearing: A Local Law amending lease agreement with Brooks Shopping LLC for space located at Cross County Shopping Center, increasing payable to not-to-exceed amount of $900,000 for work required by Westchester Community College. More information at  https://bit.ly/3zzft2c
  • #4 Public Hearing: An Act adopting the Westchester Community College Budget for 2022-2023 and making appropriations for operation of WCC.
