JURY FINDS OSSINING DELI OWNER GUILTY OF SEXUAL ABUSE OF AN EMPLOYEE.
White Plains, NY – Westchester County District Attorney Miriam E. Rocah announced that after a two-week trial, a jury found Ossining deli owner Patrick Patierno guilty of sex abuse of an employee in 2021.
Patierno, 54, of Yorktown, was found guilty on May 9, 2022, of Sexual Abuse in the First Degree, a felony, and Unlawful Imprisonment in the Second Degree, a misdemeanor. Patierno faces a sentence range of a minimum of 10 years of Sex Offender probation to a maximum of seven years in state prison. He will also be required to register as a sex offender.
On January 14, 2021, at approximately 9:30 a.m., Patierno entered the home of the victim, who was one of his employees. Once inside, Patierno restrained the victim and forcibly subjected her to sexual contact.
The Ossining Police Department arrested Patierno on January 15, 2021, following an investigation.
The case is before Judge Barry Warhit in Westchester County Court, and is being prosecuted by Sex Crimes Bureau Chief Wendy Parra and Assistant District Attorney Marissa Morra-Wynn. Patierno is scheduled to be sentenced on June 23, 2022.
