District 2 Update: April 15, 2022.
Dear Friends and Neighbors,
Things will be quieter around our towns this weekend, as the holidays keep families closer together. For any resident celebrating this season, I want to wish you and your family a wonderful and healthy holiday.
As the mercury reminded us (finally) this week, summer is indeed coming around the corner. Below is the lineup of our Recreation Department’s summer camp programs. Some programs fill up quickly while others offer early registration discounts, so now is a good time to take a look.
This month is also Autism Acceptance Month. While April was formerly known as Autism Awareness Month, in 2021, this was changed to mark an important shift in how we perceive and support our neighbors with autism. Through Autism Acceptance Month, we can both celebrate our community members with autism while also educating ourselves on their needs as well as their unique gifts. In honor of Autism Acceptance Month, we want to highlight local organizations making a difference. This week, we want to introduce everyone to BluePath Service Dogs.
Again, wishing everyone who celebrates a happy Passover, a joyous Easter and a blessed Ramadan.
