New Yorkers are facing an eviction crisis but many of our Westchester representatives in the state Assembly voted *against* the 2019 rent laws and are now blocking good cause eviction, also known as right to remain.
Good Cause Eviction/R2R would strengthen tenants rights by limiting rent hikes and requiring renewing a tenant’s lease unless there’s a justified reason not to do so.
