Westchester Insider: Choice Matters: White Plains Clinic Invasion Attacker Indicted by US Department of Justice.

William Goodman — one of the anti-abortion terrorists convicted of criminal trespass at All Women's Health in White Plains — was indicted by the US Department of Justice on Federal Civil Rights Conspiracy and Freedom of Access to Clinic Entrances Act (FACE Act) offenses. Nine extremists in total were indicted. The charges were for conspiracy, and for obstruction of patients and providers of a reproductive health services facility. It took two long years, and many more clinic invasions, to bring these charges.  (Read the press release.) - https://www.justice.gov/opa/pr/nine-defendants-indicted-federal-civil-rights-conspiracy-and-freedom-access-clinic-entrances

The three convicted in White Plains — Christopher Moscinski, Matthew Connelly, and William Goodman — have all committed similar attacks in numerous communities across the country. According to our records, the first Red Rose Rescue invasion occurred on September 15th, 2017. Since then, they have continued to ambush abortion clinics around the country. Choice Matters played a key role in the successful prosecution of these three terrorists here in White Plains.

Lauren Handy, director of activism at Progressive Anti-Abortion Uprising (PPAO) — which works closely with Red Rose Rescue — was also one of the nine indicted. After the indictment, five fetuses were found in Lauren's home when D.C. police searched her residence after receiving a tip about a "bio-hazard material" in her house.

This fight is the 2022 version of guerrilla warfare. And this is far from the first time anti-choice extremists have stolen fetuses. These zealots are our enemy.

Choice Matters is identifying, strategizing and fighting back. We are retaliating — passing laws, aiding in prosecution and helping keep our providers safe and prepared — doing what we need to do to to go after these terrorists.
