ITALIAN HERITAGE FESTIVAL SET FOR SUNDAY, JULY 21.
(White Plains, NY) – The Italian Heritage Festival will be on Sunday, July 21 from noon to 7 p.m. at Kensico Dam Plaza in Valhalla. It’s the sixth of 2019’s 13 cultural heritage festivals sponsored by and held in Westchester County Parks.
The festivities will include food, dancing, music, exhibits, children’s rides and games, and arts and crafts vendors. The event will also feature entertainment from Teo Ricciardella, Antonio Guarna, Francesca Cavalliere, Anna Calemme, Marcello Sparagna and Anna Veleva.
“You don’t have to be Italian to enjoy this vivacious and exuberant celebration, although I’m happy to be counted as a person of Italian descent,” said County Executive George Latimer. “It’s a colorful and happy occasion in which thousands of residents and visitors can indulge and experience the Italian culture. Bring your family and friends – there will be something for everyone.”
The festival will be held rain or shine. Seating is informal; bring blankets or folding chairs for seating on the lawn. Admission and parking are free.
