Westchester County Legislator, Lyndon Williams, 13th District.

The Private Sector Summer Jobs Program, is a Westchester County and Westchester-Putnam Workforce Development Board initiative coordinated by the Business Council of Westchester.
Each year, we seek to partner with our local employers, in an effort to help reach the goal of connecting 225 young adults to summer employment.

There are thousands of motivated young job seekers in Westchester County who are hoping for a chance to work.  With your partnership, we can help those youth make the transition to their first or second job, and possibly a career!

We are seeking businesses to hire at least one young adult 18 to 24 years old for 6 to 8 weeks this summer. Through this program, employers will have access to motivated, eager, pre-screened Westchester County youth.

How to participate:

1. Create a profile on www.westchestersummerjobs.com

2. Post your summer employment position

3. Connect to pre-screened qualified youth

4. Select youth to hire!
