WESTCHESTER COUNTY POLICE TO PRESENT THE COLORS TONIGHT AT CITI FIELD.


(Hawthorne, NY) -- Don’t miss the pre-game ceremony tonight at Citi Field – the Westchester County Police will be presenting the colors when the national anthem is performed.

The Department’s Ceremonial Team/Honor Guard was invited by the Mets organization to participate in the opening ceremony on First Responder Night at the ballpark in Queens.

“The Mets are recognizing the service of police officers, firefighters, EMS personnel and other first responders,” Commissioner Thomas A. Gleason said.  “We are honored to present the colors on behalf of all who protect and serve the public every day.”

The Mets-Cardinals contest is scheduled to begin at 7:10 p.m.
