Press Statement from Westchester County Executive George Latimer.

COUNTY EXECUTIVE GEORGE LATIMER STATEMENT ON DEATH OF CHELSEA DECAMINADA.

“Westchester County mourns the loss of one of our own. Chelsea Decaminada, a Peace Corps volunteer and 2011 graduate of John Jay Cross River, was the victim of the horrific terrorist attacks targeting Christians in Sri Lanka on Easter Sunday. Chelsea was a dedicated public servant who was on assignment with the Office of the General Counsel – and as noted by the United States Department of Treasury – served her country with distinction. Please join me in offering condolences to the Decaminada family during this difficult time.”
