Westchester County Department of Senior Programs and Services to Present Final Report on Live Well & Age Well: The Planning Ambassadors for Aging Program.

 

(White Plains, NY) – The Westchester County Department of Senior Programs and Services (DSPS), in partnership with the Westchester Public/Private Partnership for Aging Services and Fordham University Graduate School of Social Services will present the final report on the Live Well & Age Well: The Planning Ambassadors for Aging Program. The event will take place on Wednesday, June 12 at 10:30 a.m. at the Little Theater in the Westchester County Center, 198 Central Ave, White Plains.

 

The survey was designed to help people plan for a successful quality of life in the future on a variety of topics to help Westchester residents assess their current status, set priorities and define goals as they age. 

 

Westchester County Executive George Latimer said: “We are pleased that many Westchester County residents took the survey and here is an opportunity to hear the final report on topics like caregiving, technology, long-term care, transportation, housing and more.”

 

Commissioner of DSPS Mae Carpenter said: “In this report, we gathered information on the top three priorities for older adults in Westchester which we are pleased to share at this event. The report will be distributed to all attendees.”
