Dear Friends & Neighbors,

Financial assistance is available for eligible Westchester residents who need help paying their utility bills.

Individuals and households can apply in person at one of the District Offices in Mount Vernon, White Plains, Peekskill or Yonkers, or online at https://mybenefits.ny.gov/mybenefits/begin.

For eligibility and questions on the Heating & Cooling Assistance (HEAP) program, click here: https://www.ny.gov/services/apply-heating-and-cooling-assistance-heap.

Applicants may also be eligible for other services, and can call the Westchester County Department of Social Services at (914) 995-3333 for more information.
