During the weekly Westchester briefing:
· Pleasantville Mayor Peter Scherer to discuss the latest developments and upcoming events in the village.
· Westchester Medical Center Chief of Trauma and Acute Care Surgery Dr. Kartik Prabhakaran to discuss firework safety in preparation for the upcoming Fourth of July holiday.
· Probation Commissioner Rocco Pozzi will recognize Westchester County Police Detective Brett Hochron and his canine partner, Harley, as they retire from the Westchester County Police. Harley, an electronics detection canine, has been trained to sniff out hidden electronic devices that may contain evidence crucial to criminal investigations. Throughout their career, Hochron and Harley have worked on a broad range of investigations, supporting County, local, and federal law enforcement, Westchester County and federal Corrections agencies, and the Westchester County Department of Probation.
