Dear Friends & Neighbors,
Citing concerns about the cost of living and continued, post-COVID economic recovery, Governor Hochul has indefinitely postponed the implementation of congestion pricing in New York City.
Governor Hochul arrived at the “difficult decision that implementing the planned congestion pricing system risks too many unintended consequences at this time,” and would be too great a financial burden on “everyday New Yorkers.”
Best,
Nancy E. Barr
Legislator, 6th District
