A hike to learn more about the farm and its trails.

Ever wonder if you could survive alone in the wilderness? Learn skills including how to build a waterproof shelter and how to create fire using a bow drill. For kids ages 10 and up with their parents.

Bike, jog, ride, walk or skate the parkway from the Westchester County Center in White Plains to Scarsdale Road in Yonkers.

Pond and Stream Exploration: 2 p.m. – 3:30 p.m.
Explore life within the pond and stream ecosystems. Wear clothing that you won’t mind getting wet.

“The Floating Forest” exhibit features ceramic jellyfish suspended from the ceiling at varying heights with lights cast down upon them, creating an engaging and interactive piece that adults and children can enjoy. In Playland’s south bathhouse, Hours vary. Final week of the season to view this exhibit. Playlandpark.org.
